Welcome to the Dressage Deluxe website Terms and Conditions. Your use of this Website is governed by these Terms and Conditions set out below. By using any part of this Website, and/or placing an order on the Website you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.


Dressage Deluxe Ltd is the supplier of the goods and our address is Unit 1 Pippin Bank, Park Road, Bacup, Lancashire OL13 0BU. By accessing this website, its search function and shop you are subject to the following terms and conditions, which may be modified at any time, without notice. It is your responsibility to ensure you are familiar with this document, and by ticking the box on the shopping basket page, you are verifying you understand this.


All goods are priced including VAT at 20% where the delivery country is within the UK and E.U. Countries outside the E.U. as well as Jersey and Guernsey will show VAT exclusive prices. Exchange rates are approximate and only indicative. All orders will be charged in GBP with actual exchange rates determined by PayPal and your credit or debit card company.


We fully appreciate your right to privacy on the internet and will not disclose your name, address, or any other contact details to third parties, unless we have your express permission. The only exception being if we are required to do so by law, subject to the Data Protection Act 1998. Computer browser cookies are used on the Dressage Deluxe website to remember the country you have chosen and to store your shopping basket items. No other cookies are stored by our website. All customers are automatically signed up our bi-weekly email newsletter upon purchase. You can opt out of this newsletter at any time by using the link at the bottom of the email or by replying ‘STOP’. You will not be emailed again.

Intellectual Property
In no event are you permitted to publish, distribute or otherwise reproduce in any format any of the content or copies of the content supplied to you or which appears on the site. Any copying of watermarked images from this site will be charged at £150 per image enforceable in English courts.

Special Order Items

Special order items include made to measure boots, non-stocked items, customised helmets and any specialised bits. Any item that has been specially ordered in is unable to be cancelled once the order is placed with our suppliers.

Special order items are non-refundable unless faulty at the time of purchase. You will be notified of a special order item once the order is confirmed. Once confirmed the order will be placed for that item within 24 hours, at which point the order cannot be cancelled.

It is your responsibility when purchasing a helmet not fitted by a member of staff at Dressage Deluxe that you are ordering the correct size. Helmets are non-exchangeable or refundable once dispatched.

Bit Hire

We offer a bit hire service for all bits that we hold in stock (excluding BB Moulded Mullen and BB Blue). Bit hiring is unavailable for any non-stocked or special order bits. Bit hire costs £15 for bits valued up to £100 and £20 for bits valued over £100 for 21 day hire. Please note - we only offer this service to UK postal addresses.

To Hire: Purchase the item as you would any other item from our site, but you will have the option to return the bit after trying it for 21 days (starting from the day you sign for the parcel and finishing on the day we receive it) for a refund less the hire charge. When hiring a bit, you initially pay the full cost of the bit, and we will send you either a new bit (90% of the time) or a previously hired bit if there is one available (please note we are not able to accept requests for new bits to be sent in preference of hire bits). You are then able to use the bit for 21 days (starting from the day you sign for the parcel and finishing on the day we receive it). At any time during this period, you can decide to keep the bit or send it back to us for an exchange or refund.

If you have been sent a new bit, simply keep it- there is no need to let us know as you have already paid for it. If you have been sent a hire bit, return it to us with a note that you require a new bit (we recommend a recorded method of delivery and this part is at your cost) and we will send a new replacement bit carriage free.

If you are returning the bit as it is unsuitable you will be refunded the price of the bit less the hire charge. Please note: The bit must be returned clean and in reasonable condition. Fair wear and tear is obviously acceptable, but broken or damaged bits will not be refunded.

Goods & Services

All orders made by you through the website are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason. Alternatives may be offered if an item is unavailable. Dispatch times may vary according to availability. We are not responsible for any delay in delivery occurring due to postal delays or force majeure. Dressage Deluxe is entitled to refuse any request made by you.

Orders can be placed via our website, by telephone, or in person at our retail address. We reserve the right to decline the acceptance of any order, or cancel an order, in full or in part, for any reason at our discretion. This applies up to the point we dispatch your order.

 Successful placement of an order will trigger an ‘order confirmation’ email to be sent to you. We only accept the order and agree the contract to supply the goods purchased at the point of order dispatch (physical handover of the goods to the carrier). Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirming that the order has been accepted and providing you with shipment tracking details where relevant.

When shopping with Dressage Deluxe you undertake that all details you provide to us requesting goods or services are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to make your request or bid and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods, services or bid. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to these details as soon as possible. All prices advertised are subject to change.

Cancellation of Orders

If you are contracting with us as a consumer online or by phone, you have the right to cancel (under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), all or part of your contract at any time up to 14 working days after the day on which you receive the goods you ordered. You must take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession and they must be returned to us at your cost.

If you cancel your order within the same day of purchase and the item is in stock, we will try and honour this and cancel the order. We do however reserve the right to refuse any request to cancel your order if it has already been dispatched. It is up to you, the customer, to ensure the order placed is correct.

Any unwanted orders that were cancelled after dispatch must be returned at your own expense and in a saleable condition with all labels and original packaging. Special Order items (e.g. MTM Boots or Customised Helmets) are unable to be cancelled once the order has been placed.

Disclaimer - ownership of trade marks
Any trade marks/names as may be featured on the Dressage Deluxe website are owned by the respective trade mark owners and Dressage Deluxe claims no association, alliance or affiliation with them. Where a trade mark (brand name) is referred to it is used to describe or identify the products.

Our web development company may occasionally be required to carry out maintenance on our website and online shop which could result in short periods of unavailability. This is necessary sometimes in order to implement changes and upgrades. Every effort will be made to carry out these changes outside of the normal UK working hours of 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Dressage Deluxe have the right at its discretion at any time and without notice, to amend, remove or vary any of the content which appears on any page of the Dressage Deluxe website.

Governing Law
Your use of this Website and any purchase by you of any goods from Dressage Deluxe shall be governed by English law and the parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
