BB Eggbutt Lock-Up

The Lock Up has been designed to suit very sensitive mouthed horses.

The center joint has been locked to ensure that the slight angle over the tongue remains correct even when the reins are taken up and released but it retains the individual lateral aids.

The Eggbutt bit ring prevents pinching of the lips and give a slightly more solid feel against the side of the face. It also prevents the bit being pulled through the mouth. The release is slower and also introduces some poll pressure.
