The Samshield Helmet is the next generation of riding hat as it incorporates
safety and exceptional fit with an unparalleled service and choice of style.
Designed and finished by hand in France, Samshield helmets offer the ultimate in
comfort and can be certified to the new British Dressage approved ASTM standard. The hat is
comprised of an extra strong, ultra light polycarbonate outer shell with an
internal polystyrene shell and detachable memory foam inner linings to refine
the fit and also for ease of cleaning. This lining system also enables the
helmet to be worn by different people as they just insert the size of lining
they require - also ideal for growing children! The Samshield hat design has discreet vents
above and below the visor for maximum ventilation to avoid over heating without
a loss of style. There is also a unique cut-out creating space between the front
of the hat and your forehead for optimum air flow and to reduce pressure and
headaches. The helmet itself is covered with fade resistant Alcantara and can be
personalised by choosing different trims, top panels and the option of Swarovski
crystals - you can even have your name printed on the leather harness. At
Dressage Deluxe we stock the Standard Premium Helmet and also have some
customised designs for you to choose from but if you would like to design your
own hat you simply need to follow steps one to five:
Step One: Select a shell colour from Black, Navy or Brown and your usual hat
size (we will select the correct shell size for you)
Step Two: Choose the top panel you require
Step Three: Select a trim (this goes around the edge of the top panel and under the Samshield badge at the front
Step Four: Choose from a Black Chrome, Silver Chrome or Gold coloured Samshield badge to go on the front
Step Five: Finally if you wish to you can elect to have your name on your hat
This selection process is made easier by our Samshield Configurator.
